Pamela Schoemer, MD, serves as the medical director for Healthy Habits 4 Life (HH4Life) and Quality, Safety and Outcomes at UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics. In this role, Dr. Schoemer provides medical oversight of HH4Life, an innovative program designed to help children and adolescents, and their families, improve their health by encouraging positive choices in eating and activity. Dr. Schoemer has been instrumental in establishing the program and assisting with embedding lifestyle coaches and pediatric registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN) in UPMC CCP practices. Dr. Schoemer also serves as the consulting physician for all UPMC CCP marketing and communications.

In addition to her administrative duties, Dr. Schoemer is a practicing board-certified pediatrician and a lead physician at UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics – Moon, Wexford and South Fayette.

Dr. Schoemer received her medical degree from The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
