Much like your growing family, UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics has continued to evolve over the past 25 years. What started as just five practice groups coming together to form one network has evolved into more than 55 locations throughout western and central Pennsylvania.

While we did not always offer these specialty services in-office, UPMC CCP quickly saw the need for continuity of care within our network. We have taken great strides to create services that will fulfill your family’s needs. From Lactation Consulting to a nationally award-winning Behavioral Health Program to Adolescent Medicine, our specialty services allow you to stay within the comfort of a pediatric office while your child receives care for a variety of physical, mental and emotional needs.
In late 2015, UPMC CCP underwent a rigorous, on-site survey from The Joint Commission. During that time, expert surveyors evaluated our compliance with ambulatory care standards in regards to infection prevention, medication management, environment of care, patient safety and more. Upon completion of the survey, UPMC CCP proudly announced that we earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval®, demonstrating our compliance with the highest-national standards for safety and quality of care.

By visiting UPMC Children’s Express Care, our after-hours clinic, your child will receive the same specialized pediatric care you’ve come to expect from your UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics pediatrician. Open conveniently on evenings and weekends, your child can receive care for minor injuries and illnesses when your pediatrician’s office is closed for the day.
