Extended Office Hours Policy

UPMC CCP is dedicated to seeing patients whenever they need us. Often these visits occur 5 p.m. and after on weekdays, all day on weekends and some holidays. To ensure our pediatric providers are available to treat all who need medical care, patients may be required to pay a minimal charge for services provided outside normal office hours. This fee is in addition to your regular office visit copay and is an acceptable billing code by most insurance payors. Our care team remains committed to delivering the highest quality care to patients in a timely, convenient manner.

Insurance Coverage for Newborns

If you are expecting a baby, we recommend consulting your insurance provider about changing the scope of your insurance plan to provide for well and sick child care. As you complete pre-delivery planning, make sure to speak with your insurance company about when to add your new little one to your plan. We recommend adding your baby to your insurance plan as soon as possible after birth.
