UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics is now offering rapid antigen COVID-19 testing at select primary care offices to increase testing capacity for our patients. If you suspect your child has contracted COVID-19, please call your UPMC CCP office to determine what services are available.
COVID-19 testing is also now available at all UPMC Children’s Express Care locations. Use the UPMC Children's app or our website to reserve your spot in line before you arrive at one of our 8 locations.
Rapid, point-of-care diagnostic tests use a mucus sample from the nose and results are available within 15-minutes and will be used to diagnosis children with symptoms. The best time to test children for COVID-19, is shortly after they develop symptoms, within 0-5 days of the symptoms showing up.

Open conveniently on evenings and weekends, your child can receive care for minor injuries and illnesses when your pediatrician’s office is closed for the day.
