Kenneth Keppel, MD Named 2024 Pennsylvania Pediatrician of the Year

UPMC Children’s Pediatrics is pleased to announce that Kenneth Keppel, MD, of UPMC CCP – Armstrong, has been named the 2024 Pennsylvania Pediatrician of the Year by the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. The award is granted annually to a Pennsylvania pediatrician who exemplifies the ideas of the pediatric profession and participates in activities that reflect the foundation of the Chapter. Dr. Keppel was presented his award at the Chapter’s conference held at the Renaissance Hotel in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Keppel received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed his residency as chief resident at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. His clinical interests include primary care medical home and care for special needs children. In his spare time, Dr. Keppel enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, reading, and watching sports.
