Baby Basics

Learn how to baby your baby.

Baby smilingPreparing to bring home a baby is a wonderful, and at times overwhelming, experience. With so many things to think about, small details may slip your mind. What pediatrician will examine your child after birth? What do you need to pack for the hospital? Does your partner understand what you will be experiencing during and after labor?

Children’s Community Pediatrics (CCP) developed Baby Basics, a free program especially for mothers and their support system to answer all of these questions and more.

Led by our own CCP pediatricians, you will learn about routine care, breast and formula feedings, signs of sickness, what to expect in labor and delivery and other important information.

Baby Basics classes take place right in our pediatric offices, which serve as a comfortable setting for expectant parents to get the vital information that they need.
