Behavioral Health

Children’s Community Pediatrics (CCP) understands the complexities of behavioral health issues and the toll they can take on families.

We provide multidisciplinary services that help children with a variety of behavioral health issues lead better lives. We assess and manage emotional and psychiatric illness; teach patients and their families how to cope and adjust to acute and chronic medical illnesses; and help support, guide, and promote adaptive behavior in response to the stresses of illness.

Our experts provide complete evaluations of behavioral disorders, provide brief treatment within the pediatric office, and make necessary referrals when additional care is needed. Our model supports that physical and mental health is best treated together. The collaborative team of pediatricians, psychologists and therapists, and child and adolescent psychiatrists works together to make children and families well. We offer parent management training, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, relaxation training, and psychopharmacology.

The following CCP locations offer behavioral health services at their locations. Patients of these practices should contact their pediatrician directly for a referral and to schedule an appointment. All other patients may call the Behavioral Health office, located in Wexford, to schedule an appointment by calling 724-933-3910.
