Preparing to bring home a baby is a wonderful, and at times overwhelming, experience. With so many things to think about, small details may slip your mind. What pediatrician will examine your child after birth? What do you need to pack for the hospital? Does your partner understand what you will be experiencing during and after labor? CCP partners with UPMC Bedford Memorial in their Childbirth Class, a free program especially for mothers and their support system to answer all of these questions and more. Led by UPMC Bedford Memorial Labor and Delivery Department, partnering with your own CCP pediatrician, you will learn about routine care, breast and formula feedings, signs of sickness, what to expect in labor and delivery and other important information. The Childbirth Class takes place right in UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital, just across the street from our office. To register for a class, call 814-623-3516.
