Children’s Community Pediatrics (CCP) is expanding its pediatric network in Westmoreland County. Ali J. Aboosi, MD’s practice will join the CCP network on August 4, 2014. The practice now will be known as CCP - Mount Pleasant.
Ali J. Aboosi, MD operated his one-physician practice until 2014 when he decided to retire. Dr. Aboosi has partnered with an existing CCP practice, CCP – Blairsville & Mountain View, to ensure the thousands of patients he cared for continue to receive quality pediatric care.
“CCP has a long-standing tradition of providing quality care to their patients,” said Dr. Aboosi. “I know I’ll be leaving my patients in good hands with CCP.”
A new full-time pediatrician will join CCP – Mount Pleasant, Valarie Vukelic, DO, FAAP. The location will also be staffed by existing pediatricians from CCP – Blairsville and Mountain View including Thomas Maroon, MD, FAAP.
By joining CCP, CCP – Mount Pleasant becomes part of the largest pediatric and adolescent care network in western Pennsylvania. With more than 120 board-certified pediatricians in more than 35 pediatric locations across Allegheny, Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Erie, Fayette, Indiana, Mercer, Washington, and Westmoreland counties, CCP provides pediatric care to more than 190,000 patients annually.

CCP – Mount Pleasant will continue to see patients at its current location. New patients currently are being accepted.
