UPMC CCP is committed to ensuring compliance with The Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals by reducing the spread of infection through proper use of hand hygiene and ensuring the right patient, receives the right care, at the right time through use of two patient identifiers during each visit.
At UPMC CCP, not only do we help sick patients get back to feeling the best, but we also put a large emphasis on preventative care. UPMC CCP shows our commitment to wellness by educating our patients about the importance of regular well-child visits, maintaining good oral hygiene and reducing exposure to diseases such as Influenza and Human Papillomavirus (HPV).

By visiting UPMC Children’s Express Care, our after-hours clinic, your child will receive the same specialized pediatric care you’ve come to expect from your UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics pediatrician. Open conveniently on evenings and weekends, your child can receive care for minor injuries and illnesses when your pediatrician’s office is closed for the day.
