Candace Shaffer serves as the director of practice management for Children’s Community Pediatrics (CCP).

Ms. Shaffer provides administrative oversight for CCP’s practice operations. In this role, she serves as a liaison between select CCP practices and CCP’s leadership team. Ms. Shaffer is responsible for strategic planning and growth at the practice level, staff development, and ensuring all practices operate consistently and meet CCP quality standards.

Prior to this role, Ms. Shaffer served as the director of training and practice development for CCP where she was responsible for Epic implementation, on-going systems management and training related to patient registration and scheduling. In addition, Ms. Shaffer managed technical support throughout the organization and supervised continuing education opportunities for CCP providers and staff. Ms. Shaffer joined CCP in 2006 and served as a client analyst for several years.

Prior to joining CCP, Ms. Shaffer served as an Epic trainer for UPMC and worked for the Hospital Council of Western Pennsylvania providing distance learning programs for hospital council members.

Ms. Shaffer earned her bachelors of science in business administration from La Roche College.
